Welcome to All Seasons Driving School! To ensure a smooth learning experience, please read and understand the following terms and conditions.
1. Provisional Licence
Please bring your provisional driving licence to your first lesson.
2. Eyesight Requirements
You must meet eyesight requirements, which include being able to read a car number plate made after 1 September 2001 from a distance of 20 meters, with or without glasses or contact lenses.
3. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice to your instructor. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours (2 days) notice will be charged at the full lesson fee at your instructors' discretion. For students with prepaid lessons or block bookings (including 10-hour packages), any late cancellation (under 48 hours) will result in the equivalent lesson time being deducted from your remaining prepaid hours. No refunds or credits will be issued for lessons lost due to insufficient notice.
4. Payment
Payment is due before the lesson or by the end of each lesson.
5. Punctuality
We make every effort to be on time; however, traffic or other unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause slight delays. Any time lost due to the instructor's lateness will be compensated, either at the end of the current lesson (if the schedule allows) or added to a future lesson, depending on the extent of the delay and the day's commitments. In the unlikely event of excessive lateness, the instructor reserves the right to reschedule the lesson. If you, the client, are late, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled time, and the lost time will not be refunded or made up. If you fail to attend a lesson, the instructor will wait up to 15 minutes and will try their best to contact you during this time. If there is no response, the instructor has the discretion to leave, and the lesson will be treated as cancelled, with the full lesson fee charged.
6. Road Test
Once you feel confident and your instructor agrees that you can drive safely while obeying traffic laws and signs, we will provide a fully insured and registered vehicle, along with an instructor, for your road test. Our driving test package is 2 hours, which includes a 1 hour lesson before the booked test and 1 hour hire of the car for your road test. Please liaise with your driving instructor for availability & car test hire/lesson fee.
7. Instructor's Discretion
It is at the instructor's discretion to determine your readiness for the road test. If, in the instructor's professional opinion, you are not adequately prepared or roadworthy, they reserve the right not to take you for the test for your safety and the safety of others.
8. Respect and Conduct
Abusive language or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
9. Conduct and Substance Use
You must not impair the effectiveness of instruction through misconduct or the use of alcohol or drugs.
10. Health Changes
It is essential to inform your instructor of any changes in your health, including the use of medication that may affect your ability to drive safely. Failure to do so may result in lack of insurance coverage.
11. Medical Conditions
If you have any medical conditions that affect your ability to drive, please inform your driving instructor.
Agreement
By booking lessons with All Seasons Driving School, you acknowledge that you have understood and accept the conditions set out above.
